Description
This series of works was created with the aim of developing a poetic visual language that captures the delicacy of the moment. The viewer is invited to absorb the calm and depth of the scenes, to linger over details and to be drawn into meditative contemplation. Gradients and compositions are deliberately restrained to leave room for interpretation.
Materials
High-quality watercolors were used for this series, which excel through their luminosity and transparency. Painted on cold-pressed, acid-free watercolor paper with a weight of at least 300 g/m². Fine gradients and precise structures were created using kolinsky sable brushes of various sizes – for maximum control with a simultaneously soft application of paint.
