Theme
This series of images is dedicated to the graphic exploration of the human body in its timeless expressive power. The works are not intended as anatomical studies, but as contemplative approaches to posture, presence and inner movement. The bodies are embedded in light and space – as silhouettes that convey feeling, posture and form in equal measure.
Description
In this series, human bodies are considered not merely as physical forms, but as expressions of inner states. The figures appear in restful, dynamic or spiritualized poses, reflecting tensions between body and sensation, presence and absence. Light and shadow guide the gaze without dominating it. Each drawing is an encounter – between line and surface, between form and emotion.
Materials
Created using high-quality graphite pencils and charcoal on premium drawing paper. The technique allows for both precise detail work and soft, atmospheric transitions. Each line is drawn with deliberate attention to posture, proportion and the interplay of light and shadow.
