About me

My name is Dietmar Ysop – artist, researcher, observer. For me, art is not mere craftsmanship, but a deep engagement with what lies beyond the visible world. In my work, I seek the connection between structure and feeling, between tradition and modernity.

Born in 1972 in Hohenlimburg, my artistic journey began early with an attentive eye for form, light, and stillness. Through technical and scientific studies, my path led me to fine art – to a language that does not explain, but wants to be experienced.

In my works, discipline and intuition meet: from precise drawings to free, experimental compositions. I am drawn to what remains when the obvious fades away.

I have participated in exhibitions throughout the German-speaking world and regularly give workshops in which I accompany people in their creative development – with clarity, calm, and respect.
